Staffed by Minnesota licensed parent and early childhood educators, this
public school program invites families to learn about children’s
stages of growth and options for effective guidance. Parents engage in
educational activities with their children, and support each other by
sharing their successes and challenges. ECFE is effective with all
families, rural and urban.
According to its
research of kindergarten students, Carnegie states that children who
attended ECFE or other high-quality early childhood programs are
-
better
prepared in basic skills,
-
have more positive attitudes
towards school, and
-
have more confidence and social skills.
Parents and children alike love ECFE.
